An announcement was made by Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Perth that they were holding a Danvat-A-Thon on the 25th of April 2010 in the name of Shree Nar Narayan Dev for the occasion of the new temple opening. The news had spread far and wide and devotees from all age groups between 8 to 60 years arrived to participate in the race.

The aim was to collectively raise 10800 davants. As the devotees arrived into place of the worship they all lined and stood up in front of Shee Swaminarayan Bhagwan. The hall had quickly reached to its full capacity and the indication was given to begin the race. All devotees closed their eyes and had their hands together in front of them as they mentally focusing on Maharaj Chaaranavind. The environment in the hall had suddenly become peaceful and calm as all they waited.  “Om Shree Krushnaay Namah” had been chanted and the race had official began.
 
Through the grace of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan the target was collectively meet within 30 minutes into the race. Devotees had indicated that Maharaj’s smile had just started to get bigger and they did not want Him to stop, so hey all continued on all focused on Him.
 
An announcement was made that total 38,337 Danvats were raised by both male and female devotees, instantly everyone  hailed “ Shee Nar Narayan Dev ne Jay!”
 
Without the blessing from Maharaj this would not have been possible,  he had showered his blessings on all his devotees to ensure the target was broken.
